European Fitness Evaluation Institute
About FitnessTest
FitnessTest evaluates fitness products and publishes structured reports for consumers, sellers, and other product stakeholders. Reports focus on relevant aspects of safety, performance, durability, usability, and product-specific risks.
What we do
Each evaluation is prepared around the product category and the claims that matter to its intended use. The resulting online report brings the grade, findings, test information, measurements, and limitations into one public record.
FitnessTest certification indicates that the evaluated product met the applicable threshold under the published method. It does not replace legal conformity assessment or guarantee every future production batch.
Our principles
- Independent evaluation
- Published findings are based on the submitted or acquired product sample and the documented evaluation procedure.
- Evidence before claims
- Product claims are compared with observed performance, measurements, and test records where applicable.
- Transparent reporting
- Public reports identify the evaluated product, methods, results, limitations, and report version.
- Consistent decisions
- Certification decisions follow the published grading method and threshold rather than commercial preference.
Methodology
The methodology defines product intake, category-specific testing, dimension grades, the weighted overall grade, and the certification decision. Detailed requirements are maintained in the public evaluation standard.

Commercial relationships do not determine grades or certification outcomes. Report conclusions are tied to the recorded sample, method, evidence, and publication version.
Material limitations, changes, or corrections should be reflected in the public report and its version history.
